A galaxy of distinguished personalities including Union ministers, opposition leaders, influencers and corporate bosses will address sessions at the second edition of Times Now Summit 2021, a two-day event beginning in New Delhi on Wednesday to discuss the action plan for accelerating India’s progress.
Hosted by Times Network, India’s premium broadcast network, the summit — with the theme ‘Celebrating [email protected] Shaping [email protected]’ — will be a commemoration of India’s glorious achievements in its 75th year of Independence. At the same time, it will address the strategic, geopolitical and economic journey for the nation over the next 25 years.
Union ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Smriti Irani, Dharmendra Pradhan, Hardeep Singh Puri, Mansukh Mandaviya, Kiren Rijiju and Anurag Thakur, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Punjab CM Amarinder Singh, Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Bharat Biotech CMD Krishna Ella and Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra will be among the several dignitaries who will drive dialogues during more than 25 sessions on issues of national importance.
The summit will take up topics ranging from India’s trade strategy and path to $5-trillion economy to defence strategy, international relations, Quad Alliance in the Indo-Pacific theatre, Covid-19 vaccinations, the country’s position in the space race, India’s political landscape and the future of the opposition.
